Ghent University (UGent)
I obtained a PhD from Ghent University (2011) after graduating as Bioscience Engineer. Currently I am assistant professor at the Department of Plant Production at Ghent University. I am particularly interested in the effects of global change (climate change, land-use change, pollution, invasive species) on plants and biodiversity in (agro)ecosystems such as grasslands, forests and alpine meadows. To answer questions in connection to plant population biology, botany and (agro)ecology and global change themes, we use observational studies, experimental approaches, large databases and modelling.
