Married, with 4 children, bioengineer (University catholique de Louvain, Belgium) and a PhD in Biological Engineering (Université Libre de Bruxelles), I worked as a researcher in the mathematical modeling of biological systems. That brought me to a more holistic approach of living systems. After working as a knowledge manager in the private sector, I work today for the Brussels-Capital Region (Innoviris) in order to support research and innovation in the field of life sciences. Concerned with the relationship between science and society and the sharing of knowledge, I have especially established a funding program for participatory research for the development of sustainable food systems in Brussels. I continue this work by extending this action to social innovation and urban resilience. I also followed a training in permaculture organized by Terre & Conscience and did the certificate in agroecology and transition organized by GIRAF. Finally, I co-organize an initiation to practical agroecology in the garden organized by the association Terre & Conscience.
