International Summer School of Agroecology 2016 – Call for professional candidatures

In the framework of ERASMUS+, the International Summer School of Agroecology invites 5 professionals with an agroecological background to participate with  students of France, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland at a course week, Sunday 26th June – Friday 1rst July 2016, at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Alnarp, Sweden) (cf attach). Travel fees and accommodation will be in charge of ERAMUS+ program.

The topics addressed this year (tentative title)  :

> Plant Teams – Eco-functional  intensification by intercropping for more resilient and sustainable cropping systems – Design, implementation and breaking of barriers

> An apple a day keeps the doctor away? To what extent is Conservation Biological Control a solution for agroecological apple groves?

> Pollinators and farmers: towards an harmonious and sustainable relationship with the help of agroeocology

> “More Milk, Please” – Tensions between agroecological practices in livestock farming systems and marketing cheese within a small dairy cooperative.
